Fall 2021 Fashion Lookbook

Fall and winter are without a doubt two of my favorite seasons. Having an excuse to style an oversized sweatshirt with a pair of boyfriend jeans is something that I look forward to every year.

This year, fall fashion is coming in… hot like a Pumpkin Spice latte. There are so many new trends to look out for, and fashionistas everywhere are getting ready for the cool front to come in and the season of fashion to change.

Expect to see lots of pull-overs, crewnecks, trench coats, and parkas this autumn. Vogue posted an article all about autumn outerwear and what to expect to see when walking the streets of New York, London, Paris and other fashion-heavy big cities.

The Puffer

If I could afford it, this pink Prada puffer (wow… say that 3 times fast) would be my go-to fall/winter outerwear accessory. It can be dressed up or down, and it is easy to style with either a pair of knee-high boots or sneakers.

Here is a more affordable puffer jacket option, which is still one of my all-time favorites. You have no idea how excited 5th grade me was when the North Face insulated puffer jacket made its’ comeback into the fashion world.

Denim Jacket

Thank goodness… the oversized jean jacket is back! If it’s chilly out but not cold enough to wear an insulated jacket, a denim jacket goes perfectly over a hoodie or a cropped t-shirt.

Flannel Jacket

An oversized flannel jacket is the same idea as the denim jacket. Paired with mom jeans and a tight shirt, this jacket is the way to go.

The perfect bottoms can be the key to making any normal outfit become a statement outfit.

All things leather are back in action, and I’m absolutely ecstatic about it. Leather pants are the best subtle attention grabber. If you don’t think you’re turning heads, I promise you are.

Animal Print

The thing I love about animal print is that it can fall under any season’s trends. Animal print sherpa jackets and pants are coming back and so is the chilly weather.

Blazer Dress/Oversized Blazer

The blazer dress is a moment. Paired with knee-high or thigh-high boots, it is a simple and subtle outfit that screams fall fashion.

Whether it’s oversized or cropped, sweaters are an obvious fall wear every year.

Y2K Sweater

Layers are EVERYTHING.

As always, I can’t stress this enough… layer, layer, LAYER! Whether it be bracelets, necklaces, and rings, or a turtle neck with a sweater vest, layering is so important and key to a perfect fall outfit.
