During the summer, I always want to walk out of the house in something cute. That’s why summer street style is such a necessity for me. Whether I’m just running a few errands or getting lunch with friends, here are some of my favorite pieces that make me look like I know what I’m doing when I’m walking the streets.
lululemon Align Tank Top
I have been pairing this top with absolutely everything recently. From a morning workout in biker shorts, to afternoon sweat-shorts and a baseball hat, this top is so flattering and goes with everything. I have it in white, and so far, it was my best purchase of the summer.
I have been obsessed with all things sweat-shorts recently. Asleep or awake, you can pretty much always catch me with them on. I have been loving a pair of white, Bermuda sweat-shorts that I got on SHEIN a few weeks ago, and I wear them all the time. Shopping on SHEIN is the definition of balling on a budget, and it never disappoints.
From what I have learned, a classic trucker or baseball hat and a low messy bun can add so much to my appearance. If I’m having a bad hair day, instead of complaining about it, I do the following and I feel 100 times more cute and confident.
If you know me even a little bit, you know how important shoe game is to me. I like to wear neutral or black and white lounge/streetwear so that my outfit will match with a pair of my colorful sneakers. My favorite type of shoe in particular are Nike Dunk Low’s. Shop all you can get on GOAT.com!
In summary, the ultimate guide to summer street style, in my opinion, is simplicity. Subtly matching is so important, too. If there is a tiny bit of red in the top you’re wearing, wear black or white shoes and bright red sneakers and a red purse or wallet to tie it all together. Or wear black on black with a neon sneaker to draw attention to your outfit. As always, layer your jewelry but stay dainty and classy, and always wear earrings, rings, and bracelets. When you’re walking the streets this summer, think of these tips and walk with style!
