The Oscar’s 2024 red carpet reviews
If you know me at all, you know how much I love award shows. And yes, while I have the upmost respect for those in the film and music industry, it’s what goes on behind the scenes that really makes me want to watch: the stylist that pour their everything into celebrity red carpet looks.
Kylie Jenner
You know her, your dad knows her, your grandma probably knows her, and you’ve most likely seen the look, but wow. This might be my favorite look of Kylie Jenner’s so far. She is wearing an incredibly flattering Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown to the Oscar’s afterparty.
Emma Stone
Despite a dress malfunction, Emma Stone looked completely classy and beautiful in a pale seafoam green gown, and also won Best Actress at the award show.
Zendaya
Zendaya stood out in something different than what she normally wears, but let’s be honest with ourselves… she could rock a black trashbag. But, this just further proves my point that sequins are back in and palm trees are becoming chic, not just something your Southern mom wears on the beach golf course. This was one of my favorite looks of the night.
Margot Robbie
FINALLY she’s not in pink! The Barbie thing was cute for a while, but I’m happy to see that Margot Robbie has turned back to the dark side in this stunning and unique sequin gown.
Kelly Ripa
Kelly Ripa definitely made a statement in this sheer black gown, not to mention that her hair and makeup both look stunning. It is undoubtable that she has aged beautifully. I need to get my hands on this dress!
Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o looked absolutely beautiful in this sequin embelished Giorgio Armani gown, and I love the feather belt along the middle of the dress. This is another that I would die to have in my closet!
Susan Downey and Robert Downey Jr.
Power couple- enough said!
America Ferrera
America Ferrera is finally having her red carpet “Barbie” moment in this sparkly pink gown made custom by Versace. This is another one of the many looks that stole the show on Oscar’s red carpet.
